ESN KISA did a trip to the amazing St. Petersburg on the 10th-14th of November. Read what our group leader Konstantin had to say:
We traveled with a group of exchange students to one of the most lovely places in Russia. When you visit for the first time, you will probably notice the special atmosphere in this city. Saints-Petersburg is called "The cultural capital" of Russia, and there are good reasons for it. First, there are a huge amount of museums, theatres, cathedrals, park zones and other wonderful places to visit. If you are fond of specific civil architecture you will appreciate Peter's baroque style of the majority of the buildings in downtown. I will always remember an amazing night canals cruise and all the city shine. The second, Nightlife in SPb is another reason to join the trip, you will never be bored: bars, clubs, lounges, street artists and etc. every night are waiting for new people. Organization of the trip was great. Our guide made his job in a very professional way. In my opinion, we were lucky with our accommodation in Gutenberg hotel. It was located in the heart of the city, all of the main sightseeings were accessible easily by foot.
Saints-Peterburg is a city, where everyone could find something new.
