Have you ever wondered about Middle Eastern culture and what the daily life is like? Have you ever listened to Iranian music or tasted delicacies from Iraq? If not (or if yes!) now is your chance!
On Friday, December 9 in Lukema Yo-symposium of Kuopio and ESN KISA will host the first-ever Middle Eastern Discovery Night. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to presentations from Syrian, Iranian, and Iraqi community members and ask questions. Snacks and foods from the Middle East will be served and you'll hear some traditional music from the area. Following the formal program, we will have more music, dancing, and foods from all around the world!
18:00 - coffee, tea, and Middle Eastern snacks
18:30 - cultural presentations begin (with question and answer sessions)
19:30 - snack break
19:45 - final presentation
20:15 - discussion
Remaining time - eating, dancing, and mingling with everyone!
